Super news for McGowans from this year’s Irish Print Awards held at Clontarf Castle in North Dublin on Friday 26th of April where we picked up 4 print awards. Two bronze awards, one for large format digital printer for our stunning Glendalough Gin FSDU and the other for Food and Drink Packaging for our suite of chocolate wrappers for Aine’s Chocolates.

We triumphed with a gold award in the Digital Packaging Printer of the Year category with the same entry for Aine’s Chocolates, seven wrappers for seven flavours of chocolate bar for Dunnes Stores Simply Better range all printed on the Landa S10, gold foiled and uniquely spot varnished on the Scodix 1200 and all die cut to shape. Our second Gold Award was for Report and Accounts printer of the year for the Dublin Zoo Annual Report, a well deserved award as I believe it should be awarded gold every year as it is always beautiful.
